Members of the World Travel and Tourism Society are committed to the highest standards in the development and delivery of global travel products. WTTS members are committed to conducting their business in a manner that promotes the ideal of integrity in travel and agree to act in accordance with the principles of the WTTS Member Code of Conduct.
1. WTTS members must be ensured that employees and external agents offer truthful and accurate advice and services, being fully informed about the products, destinations and various aspects of the product they promote and sell.
2. WTTS members will treat the information of client as confidential and will not disclose any information without the permission of the client, unless required by law.
3. WTTS members will make all efforts to protect their clients against any fraud, misrepresentation or unethical practices, which may arise in the travel and tourism industry.
4. WTTS members are required to provide full details of the terms and conditions of all or any travel services or provisions, including cancellation obligations and service charges, before accepting any payments for booking.
5. WTTS members will promptly advise the client or their agent, of any change in itinerary, services, features or price in line with the members booking conditions.
6. WTTS members must not mislead the public with any information in written or otherwise or advertisement document, statement, or other publication.
7. WTTS members must develop the right and legal procedures for cancellation of travel and tours, alterations made to travel arrangements from their side.
8. WTTS members must develop booking term and conditions with clarity of the amount of the cancellation fees which the client shall be liable to incur in case of cancellation from the side of client.
9. WTTS members shall resolve matters promptly and effectively in the event of a dispute with a customer. WTTS members shall make every effort to resolve the matter amicably and as quickly as possible.
10. WTTS members will cooperate with any investigation or enquiry conducted by WTTS, to resolve any disputes involving consumers or another member/-s of WTTS.
